Chantell E. Dalpe - MD, FACOG
- Dr. Chantell Dalpe is a native of Whitesboro, NY. She graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College in 1995, and then earned her medical degree at SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Dalpe completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse. She joined the Women’s Wellness Place after finishing her residency in 2003. Dr. Dalpe is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her professional interests include infertility work-up and management, minimally invasive surgery, office procedures, and contraception. Her practice is now limited to gynecology, and she takes pride in providing healthcare to women throughout all stages of their lives. Dr. Dalpe enjoys spending time outside of work with her husband, an otolaryngologist, and her two sons.
Carly Hornis - MD, FACOG
- Originally from Ontario, Canada, Dr. Hornis completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Waterloo in biomedical sciences with a minor in French studies. She received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine with High Honors in Dominica, West Indies and completed her residency training in Obstetrics & Gynecology at St. Luke’s University Health Network in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Dr. Hornis is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her professional interests include minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, and outpatient management including contraceptive counseling. She enjoys the personal relationships developed with her patients and she is dedicated to helping them transition from early adolescence throughout their postmenopausal years. She believes strongly in patient education to enable her patients to make informed healthcare choices. When not practicing medicine, she is an avid sports fan and enjoy outdoor activities including golfing, biking, and skiing. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends watching movies and traveling.
Nicole Snyder, Certified Nurse Midwife
- Nicole‘s hometown is Buffalo, NY. She received her bachelor’s in nursing from D’Youville University and her master’s in nurse midwifery from Stony Brook University. Nicole is board certified by the American College of Nurse Midwives. Prior to becoming a certified nurse midwife, Nicole worked as a labor and delivery nurse at Strong Memorial Hospital. Her professional interests include supporting families through their labor and delivery experience, family planning, and promoting sexual health and wellness. In her free time she enjoys spending quality time with her family and dogs; Benson and Hamilton, exploring the Adirondacks, and attempting her newest hobby - pottery. On Sundays you can find her watching football. GO BILLS! Nicole is honored to have the opportunity to provide full scope midwifery care to the Syracuse community.
Katlyn Piazza, RN, FNPC
Katlyn is a native to Syracuse, NY. She completed her nursing degrees through Le Moyne College and St. Joseph’s’ College of Nursing in 2020. She went on to obtain her Family Nurse Practitioner through Le Moyne College in 2023. She began her nursing career in labor and delivery and then transitioned into family practice where she gained valuable experience caring for women during pregnancy, childbirth and patients across the lifespan. As a nurse practitioner, Katlyn further broadened her scope of practice in weight management and neurosurgery, where she developed additional clinical skills and experience. Throughout her career, however, she has consistently felt drawn back to women’s health, which remains her primary passion and focus. In her free time, she enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time with family and friends.

Christine Bezner, RDMS, RVT- Sonographer
- Christine is a native of Tully, NY. She received her Bachelor's in Biology from SUNY Binghamton in 1991. She received her degree in Ultrasound Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology in 1993. She received her board certifications in OB/GYN and Vascular technology. She started her career as a sonographer in Neurology, working with stroke patients at Rochester General Hospital, and then moved to a private office for a short stint in Vascular Surgery. In 2007, after a few years of taking care of her two boys as a stay-at-home mom, she made the switch to OB/GYN. She joined The Women's Wellness Place in 2012 and has enjoyed the bonds that have been created between her and the staff and her patients. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, camping, and snowmobiling. She also enjoys group activities with her family and friends.
